For FHIR® users, learn about the possibilities and unique aspects of the Redox FHIR® API to achieve your healthcare workflow.
FHIR® is a modern, adaptable, and quick way to exchange healthcare data.
With the Redox FHIR® API, you can use FHIR® resources—building blocks for organizing data—to exchange data with your connection(s). FHIR® resources are equivalent to Redox data models, but with a FHIR® REST interface on top of them. You can combine FHIR® resources to achieve your unique workflow.
FHIR® support continues to evolve in the industry at large, and Redox is continually adapting to support this changing environment.
FHIR® limitations in the industry can make it hard to commit to FHIR® adoption. However, Redox FHIR® enables you to move forward with the FHIR® momentum while continuing to support older standards:
- Use data already formatted as FHIR®. Or let Redox translate to or from FHIR® so you don’t have to manage the complexity of using different standards;
- Use notification and writeback tools with older standards while maintaining FHIR® read capabilities.
The Redox FHIR® API gives you consistency while leaving the complex work to us.
