Rename or delete an OAuth API key

OAuth API keys are used for authenticating API requests from your system to Redox. Learn about authentication methods.

You can rename an existing or delete unnecessary OAuth API keys.

• A user must be assigned to an engineer role to manage OAuth API keys. Learn about user roles.
• To delete an OAuth API key, log into a development or staging environment. Self-service deletion is disabled in production. Talk to your Technical Account Manager to delete production assets. You should also ensure you have more than one existing OAuth API key before deleting any.

1. Log in to the dashboard.
2. From the navigation menu, select the Developer page.
3. By default, the Sources tab opens. Click the Authentication tab.
4. All configured OAuth API keys and auth credentials display in a table. Find the OAuth API key you want to rename and click anywhere in its row.
5. The Details page opens. Under the OAuth API key details section, click the Edit button.
6. The Name field becomes editable. Revise the name, then click the Save button.
