Troubleshoot alert errors in the Redox dashboard

Last updated: Jul 11, 2023

If you're monitoring alerts and want to troubleshoot active errors, check out our recommendations. Or, learn how to monitor alerts.

Log failures

We recommend checking the error details on the log related to the alert. You may need to troubleshoot with your connection's team, depending on the response error.

You can find a link to the related log on the Alerts History tab of the Monitoring page in the Redox dashboard.

VPN heartbeat failures

We recommend waiting at least 5 minutes to see if the error resolves.

If the alert remains active, you may see these errors:

Error
Notes
ECONNREFUSED
This typically means there's a firewall issue at the receiving end. Check with your connection's system to see if there are issues.
ETIMEDOUT
This error may be due to a bad VPN configuration, either within Redox or your connection's system, or a firewall issue at the receiving end. Check with your connection's system to see if there are issues, or submit a ticket via our Help Desk if you need help from Redox.

Keep in mind that these errors automatically resolve once the VPN configuration or firewall is properly restored.
